In the BOOT (Build Own Operate Transfer)/ RESCO (Renewable Energy Service Company ) model, an investor or project developer invests the CAPEX and consumer pays for the energy consumed/supplied by the solar power project delicately developed for a particular consumer. Both consumer and developer sign a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) for period ranging from 15 / 20 / 25 years with an agreed tenure & tariff.

BOOT is for those, who don’t want to invest cash or take business loan but instead enjoy the cheaper source of energy and save money.
